We, at Ski & Board Traventuria, have always had flexible booking conditions, and in these unprecedented times, we’ve gone one step further with our COVID-19 refund policy, concerning the ski packs booked directly with us. Traventuria is one of the few companies who’ve offered refunds throughout the coronavirus crisis on suspended trips, so we’re a company you can trust. Like many of you may remember, we refunded dozens of thousands of Euros within a week after Bulgaria closed its borders back in March 2020.

YOU ARE ALSO ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND IN CASE OF:

1) Complete resort closure as a result of Covid-19 or other global pandemics: In this case you will be eligible for a refund of the unused part of the ski package (difference of price) minus 10 EUR p/p handling fee.
(Mind that, as a rule, no refund is possible in case of not operational lifts and drags due to bad weather conditions or temporary technical breakdowns/power cuts).
2) Border closure in Bulgaria: If before your arrival Bulgaria closes its borders for passengers, coming from your country, and your travel dates fall into the border closure period, you will be eligible for a refund (minus 3.5% of the amount paid but not less than 10 EUR p/p)
3) Self-isolation requirements: If before your arrival Bulgaria, or the country you are coming from, introduces self-isolation requirements (either in Bulgaria, or in your country of origin when you go back), and these measures match your travel dates, you will be eligible for a refund (minus 3.5% of the amount paid but not less than 10 EUR p/p)


REMARKS:
1. Cancellation/change of dates/refund requests are considered valid only if sent in written to info@traventuria.com. Requests verbally advised to our staff (locally or by phone) will not be acknowledged.
2. Time period of 24hrs starts from 08:00 am local time (07:00 CET) 1 day before the first skiing date. Cancellation/date change requests should be received before that time in order to qualify.
3. Time period of 48hrs starts from 08:00 am local time (07:00 CET) 2 days before the first skiing date. Cancellation/date change requests should be received before that time in order to qualify.
4. When changing the booking to a new date, there might be a price difference, which should be paid extra.
5. When changing the booking to a new date, the latter should fall within the same skiing season or the next one at the latest.
6. Only customers, already in the resort, are eligible for a refund in case of complete resort closure.
7. Reasons for cancellation should not be advised by the client, as these will not affect our refund policy.
8. All cancellation/change of dates requests will be treated as per the time when they are received for the first time (and irrespective of how the situation evolves later on).

We would highly recommend that you take out additional Covid-19 travel insurance. Many travel insurance policies will no longer cover you as standard if your holiday is disrupted due to Coronavirus. It is important that you check the small print about what is covered before purchasing your policy.
